Nibbitt serves as the central hub for your videos, articles, recipes, tours, stores, websites, social posts, and more. We streamline audience connections to your online content, making it easier to discover and manage. Our platform, which includes our website (https://nibbitt.co/) and other digital tools such as our mobile app and Developer Portal (collectively, the “Platform”), allows individuals and businesses to:

  1. Sign up as Nibbitt Users to create personalized, customizable pages.

  2. Subscribers

  3. Develop functionality through our Developer Portal

These services are collectively referred to as the Nibbitt Services. The public-facing pages created using the Nibbitt Services are called User Profiles, which are accessible to everyone.

How does this Privacy Notice apply to you?

This Privacy Notice explains how Nibbitt collects, uses, and safeguards your personal information when you interact with our services, platform, or staff. It also outlines your rights regarding your data and how you can exercise them. This Privacy Notice applies solely to personal information collected by Nibbitt in its capacity as a controller from the following groups:

  • Visitors to our platform (“Platform Visitors”).

  • Individuals, their representatives, or companies signing up for our services through a paid plan (“Paid Plan Users”) or free plan (“Free Plan Users”), collectively referred to as “Nibbitt Users.”

  • Individuals visiting or interacting with User Profiles (“Profile Visitors”).

  • Developers using our Developer Portal to create functionality interacting with Nibbitt Services (“Nibbitt Developers”).

  • Individuals participating in our surveys, marketing initiatives, trade promotions or competitions.

As a controller, Nibbitt determines the purposes and methods for processing personal information. In some cases, we also act as a processor on behalf of Nibbitt Users. Processor Services refer to instances where we handle Profile Visitors’ and Subscribers’ personal information at the instruction of a Nibbitt User. This Privacy Notice does not govern Processor Services. If you are a Profile Visitor or Subscriber, please contact the relevant Nibbitt User or review the privacy notice provided on their User Profile for information on how they handle your data.

If you provide personal information about someone else (e.g., as a representative), you must share this Privacy Notice with them and inform them how their personal data will be used as outlined herein.

We collect personal information in three primary ways: information you provide voluntarily, information collected automatically, and information obtained from third-party sources. Below is an overview of these categories:

Information You Provide Voluntarily

When you interact with Nibbitt Services, visit our Platform, use a User Profile, or participate in activities such as surveys, promotions, or competitions, we may request personal information. Examples include:

  • Free Plan Users: We may ask for your email address, name, username, hashed password, industry (vertical), and marketing preferences.

  • Paid Plan Users: Additional information like full name, billing address, and payment method is collected to facilitate billing.

  • Subscribers: We may request your email address or SMS number.

You may also provide personal information when submitting queries, reports (e.g., Intellectual Property Reports or Counter Notices), or participating in surveys and promotions. If you are a Profile Visitor, a User might request information such as your email address, mobile number, or age to access restricted content. We may aggregate this data to improve Nibbitt Services.

To opt-out of marketing communications, click the unsubscribe/opt-out link in our emails or SMS messages.

Information We Collect Automatically

We automatically collect certain technical and usage data when you interact with Nibbitt Services, including:

  • Device and Technical Information: IP address, device type, browser type, geographic location, and diagnostic data.

  • Usage Data: Pages accessed, links clicked, and interaction patterns on our Platform or User Profiles.

We also scan User Profiles and links to enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use, applying sensitive content warnings or suspending profiles as necessary.

Children’s Data

Our services are not intended for individuals under 18. If you are a parent or guardian aware of a minor's information being shared with us, please contact us. We will promptly erase such data.

Recruitment

If you apply for a role at Nibbitt, your data will be used solely for recruitment purposes, stored securely for up to two years, and anonymized thereafter.

We rely on a third-party payment processor to manage paid services and do not store payment card details. These processors adhere to PCI-DSS standards set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to ensure secure handling of payment information. Our current payment processor is Stripe.
