These standards clarify acceptable use and help keep you and your audience safe. Review our community guidelines, as your use of Nibbitt signifies your agreement to these terms.

If you encounter content violating these standards, please report it.

Adult content: We empower users to express themselves while adhering to legal and ethical constraints.
You may:

  • Link to adult content if legal in your region, marked as sensitive*, and not advertising full-service sex work.

  • Promote adult media you create and sell on other platforms.

You may not:

  • Upload adult media (e.g., images, videos) to Nibbitt, including in avatars, thumbnails or backgrounds.

  • Embed social media feeds displaying adult content.

  • Advertise full-service sex work or AI-generated adult content impersonating others.

  • Use Nibbitt features for payments related to adult content.

*Sensitive labels may apply automatically when linking certain content.

Hate Speech: Nibbitt supports diverse beliefs while prohibiting content inciting harm, hatred or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics. Content glorifying perpetrators of such acts is also prohibited.

Electoral Fraud: Do not use Nibbitt to mislead others about electoral processes, such as where, how, or who can vote. Selling or attempting to sell your vote is strictly prohibited.

Usernames and Links: Nibbitt usernames are for active use only. Do not buy, sell, or hoard usernames for profit or prevent others from using them. Such actions, including domain squatting, may violate laws and platform policies.

Illegal Goods and Services: Do not use Nibbitt to promote, sell or facilitate:

  • Regulated or Restricted Goods:
    • Alcohol: Advertisements are allowed only with a valid liquor license. However, the direct sale of alcohol through Nibbitt commerce links is prohibited.

    • Controlled Substances: Includes illegal drugs, prescription medications sold without authorization, and drug paraphernalia.

    • Tobacco Products: Includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vape products, and associated accessories.

    • Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, weapon schematics, explosives, and realistic replicas that lack clear safety indicators.

    • Hazardous Materials: Chemicals or other substances classified as toxic, explosive, or dangerous.

  • Endangered or Protected Species:
    • Animals and Plants: Prohibits the sale or trade of endangered or protected species, as well as their parts (e.g., ivory, pelts).

    • Regulated Wildlife Products: Includes insects, plants, or animals restricted by law.

  • Human Exploitation and Trafficking:
    • Human Trafficking: Includes offers for trafficking or exploitation of individuals.

    • Surrogacy/Adoption: Soliciting or advertising services related to human surrogacy or child adoption.

    • Body Parts: Includes the sale of human body parts, fluids, or blood.

  • Counterfeit and Stolen Goods:
    • Counterfeit Items: Includes fake goods imitating branded products.

    • Recalled or Stolen Items: Includes goods subject to recall by manufacturers or stolen property.

  • Gambling and Gaming:
    • Gambling Services: Includes casino games, sports betting, lotteries, and other forms of gambling.

    • Exceptions: Fantasy sports are not considered gambling under this policy and may be promoted.

  • Multi-Level Marketing (MLM): Prohibited Schemes: Includes pyramid schemes and other MLM operations that are deceptive or exploitative.
  • Embargoed or Sanctioned Goods: Prohibited Regions: Goods originating from or intended for embargoed or sanctioned regions are not allowed.
  • Identity and Privacy Violations:
    • ID Documents: Includes the sale of passports, driver's licenses, or other personal identification.

    • Mailing Lists: Prohibits selling lists containing personal information without legal authorization.

  • Exploitative Content and Targeting Minors: Inappropriate Content for Minors: Goods, services, or activities that exploit or harm minors.
  • Additional Prohibitions:
    • Fireworks and Explosives: Includes the sale or promotion of pyrotechnics or dangerous explosives.

    • Hazardous/Toxic Materials: Includes chemicals or substances classified as dangerous.

    • Embargoed Items: Includes goods restricted under international or national embargoes.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and legal marketplace for our users. If you identify prohibited content, please report it immediately.

Spam and Fraud: Avoid practices such as:

  • Linking to deceptive sites collecting personal data.

  • Creating multiple accounts for spam or affiliate gain.

Harassment: Do not use Nibbitt to intimidate, threaten or harass others.

Extremist/Terrorist Content: Do not promote, fundraise for or glorify extremist groups or activities.

Child Harm: Nibbitt maintains zero tolerance for any content harming minors. Violations will be reported to authorities like the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Self-Harm: Content promoting or idealizing self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating is prohibited. For crisis support, consider reaching out to 7 Cups, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or IMAlive.

Shocking or Violent Content: Do not share content intended to disturb others, such as gore, mutilation or excessive violence.

Copyright and Trademark: Respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your rights are infringed, contact us as soon as possible.

Privacy and Impersonation:  

  • Protect others’ privacy. Do not expose personal or identifying information or impersonate individuals/organizations. Collecting data requires a compliant privacy notice.
  • Misinformation: Avoid sharing content that misleads, endangers public safety, or spreads conspiracy theories. Examples include:

    • False claims about current events or crises.

    • Content disrupting electoral processes.

    • Harmful medical misinformation.
