At Nibbitt, we respect and enforce intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other proprietary rights. We expect our users to do the same when creating or sharing content on the platform.

Reporting Intellectual Property Infringement

If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on, please submit a report through our intellectual property complaint process. Your report should include the following details:

  • Your Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number.

  • Description of the Infringed Work: Include enough detail to identify the original work (e.g., a URL, registration number, or publication title).

  • Description of the Infringing Content: Provide the specific location (e.g., profile URL or link) of the content you believe infringes on your rights.

  • Statement of Good Faith: A declaration that you believe the use of the material is unauthorized.

  • Ownership Confirmation: A statement affirming that you are the owner of the intellectual property or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

  • Signature: An electronic or physical signature.

Actions We Take

Upon receiving a valid intellectual property report, we will:

  1. Investigate: Review the claim and verify the details provided.

  2. Remove Content (if necessary): If we find that the content violates intellectual property rights, it will be removed promptly.

  3. Notify the User: The user responsible for the content will be notified and may have the opportunity to respond with a counter-notice, as permitted by law.

Counter-Notices

If your content was removed in error or you believe it does not infringe on intellectual property rights, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your contact information.

  • A description of the removed content and its location.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury explaining why you believe the removal was in error.

  • Your agreement to the jurisdiction of your local court for disputes.

Repeat Infringers

Users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights may face account suspension or termination.
